Meet Jackie

Are you a young woman who feels like you need to control everything to feel secure, often turning to your body, food, and exercise as ways to regain control? Perhaps life transitions like college, new adulthood, a career change, or even pregnancy have intensified these feelings, leaving you stuck in perfectionism and disconnected from who you truly are. You may feel overwhelmed by the unknowns and anxious about not measuring up. While seeking control may seem like the answer, it’s actually keeping you from feeling healthy, confident, and aligned with your true self. I’m here to help you break free from these patterns and find peace in letting go, so you can embrace life transitions with clarity, self-compassion, and a sense of empowerment.I understand the unique pressures you face.  My personal journey allows me to connect deeply with my clients, creating a safe space where you can feel seen, heard, and empowered.  No matter where you are on your path, I'm here to help you improve your quality of life and discover meaningful changes in the areas you desire, so you can live a life that aligns with your values and and feels truly worth living.

As a therapist, I take a hands-on collaborative approach.  Together, we will get underneath the anxiety and get clear on what you actually want.  I'll challenge and support you to make it happen.  Anxiety and self doubt are keeping you stuck in unfulfilling friendships, relationships, and jobs.  We all have insecurities.  Instead of letting them take over, we'll learn to accept them and change how you view yourself.  After therapy together, you'll feel more confident, secure, and connected to others.

I received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Theater from Brandeis University and my Masters of Social Work from New York University. I am a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and Certified Integrative Health Coach. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solutions Focused Therapy (SFT), and Intuitive Eating (IE).

In my professional career as a therapist and coach, I have worked in many settings ranging from residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient level of care for eating disorders. I also worked in the school setting with middle school students where in addition to providing counseling services, I facilitated a health program for teens to teach them mindfulness, intuitive eating, and building confidence around body image.
